Prelude Music Academy's vision is to bring the sustaining experience of music education to all students dedicated to broadening their music abilities. This summer program has been designed to provide high quality personalized instruction and guidance for talented young musicians interested in expanding their performance skills regardless of economic background. Prelude offers an intensive, residential program for students entering grades 7-12, and a Strings Day Camp for students entering grades 5-8.

Deadlines and Fees

Prelude Music Academy offers a quality three-week residential summer music program for violinists, violists, cellists, flutists, vocalists and pianists entering grades 7-12 emphasizing an integrated arts curriculum featuring classes in chamber music, orchestra, music theory, private lessons and master classes.

Prelude Music Academy students have been invited to perform in Argentina and Chile right after the summer session, from August 11th through August 20th. Students attending Prelude Music Academy’s 2008 summer session will be eligible to participate in this tour. Students interested in this trip need to apply separately for this tour by the priority deadline (February 15, 2008).
