Shauncey Ali began playing the viola when he was 8 years old and quickly gained interest in many musical genres. He was the recipient of the UW-Madison Music Clinic Scholarship and has toured with orchestras in Spain, Italy, Canada and the US. He is an active performer in the Madison area on both acoustic and electric 5-string violins, and focuses on bluegrass, celtic and old-time fiddle styles with the Old Tin Can String Band. Currently he has a full viola, violin and mandolin studio.
