Darcy Drexler - Violin

Darcy Drexler is executive director of the String Academy of Wisconsin
at UWM and a member of the violin faculty. In addition, she teaches in the
string pedagogy graduate program at UWM. Ms. Drexler frequently performs with various ensembles, including Great Lakes Baroque, throughout the Milwaukee area and is active as a recitalist and clinician. She received her Bachelor of Music in violin performance from Southern Methodist University and her Masters of Music from the University of Illinois. Ms. Drexler has been a member of the Hawthorne Quartet, Dallas Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonia da Camera, the Killington Music Festival ( VT) and has taught at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, Illinois Wesleyan University, and the Indiana University Summer String Academy.
